  • There are several reasons to consider Cordion for roofing or cladding over traditional slates or tiles

      Cordion Corrugated Roofing can add architectural interest to the simplest of building forms, It is available in a range of colours and finishes and because it is lightweight can work on pitch profiles unsuitable for slates or tiles.

    • Budget
      Cordion is typically quick to install, and doesn’t need specialist contractors to do so - this can cut project time and reduce overall build costs.

      Because we cut and deliver Cordion to your build specification we minimise waste.

    • Sustainable
      Cordion is 100% recyclable and uses a bio-oil-based coating. Cordion is manufactured in Kilkenny, where solar panels provide 40% of our energy costs.

  • Cordion is lightweight and quick to install by a competent carpenter or contractor, it doesn’t need expensive specialist labour. We’ll provide technical guidance as you require in your project build.

  • CORDION offers long-lasting performance, is 100% recyclable and features a more sustainable protective coating made using a substantial portion of Swedish rapeseed oil in place of traditional fossil fuel oil. CORDION is also chromate-free and releases no harmful emissions.

  • Coridon’s durable coating with its superior corrosion resistance properties, also has excellent colour fastness and gloss retention. Cordion comes with a guarantee that protects against abnormal colour change during the warranty period. For more details please see our warranty section.

  • We offer 6 core colours that are designed to fit within rural and urban landscapes in Ireland. However, if your project requires something outside of the core range, then please contact the sales office for more information.

  • Ordering Cordion is simple. All we need is a list of the quantity and lengths required. We will then manufacture to your cutting list and deliver on site.

    This ensures minimal waste on site, saving time and costs on both materials and disposal. Any additional cuts required on-site should only be done with a nibbler. Never use an angle grinder or similar method to cut sheets, which may damage the sheet or coating.

  • With both a standard range of flashings and trims as well the capacity to manufacture bespoke flashings to client requirements, Cordion offers a unique design flexibility. We also have a stylish and efficient rainwater system available which is manufactured using the same premium materials and coatings, to compliment the Cordion sheeting range.

    We can also supply premium fasteners, these are made from stainless steel for longevity, with painted heads to blend in with your chosen Cordian sheeting colour.

  • Skylights and vents can be used on corrugated sheeting. Trims and seals to suit corrugated profiled sheeting will be available from your window and vent supplier.

  • Yes, Coridon roofing is compatible with solar panel installation.

  • The high salinity of locations in extreme proximity to the coast can be challenging for any steel roofing material. CORDION is also available with an Aluminium substrate which is an option for locations where the pre-ageing of steel sheeting due to saltwater is a concern.

  • With the level of insulation required in current building regulations, noise from outside elements is not an issue with Cordion.
